Denise Bailey serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for Koniag Government Services. In this role, Ms. Bailey manages the daily administrative operations of Human Resources, Recruiting, Facilities, Security and Contracts. Denise collaborates with colleagues to implement policies and develop improvements for the sector. In addition, she works with others in the Koniag family to drive corporate strategic projects in support of the sector and overall business plans. Denise joined Koniag Government Services in August 2011 as the Senior HR Manager.
In 2024 Denise was recognized by the Washington Business Journal as an HR Impact Award winner.
Prior to joining Koniag, Denise was the VP of HR and Operations for Washington Management Group where she worked with senior management to create and administer HR policies and procedures, directed recruiting, hiring, benefits and compensation practices for the organization. Prior to her role with WMG, she was the VP of Finance & Administration for Federal Sources. In this position, Denise directed and managed the organization’s financial and administrative activities and policies.
Denise has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of Human Resources and operations. She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University and is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources.
