This KGS federal civilian customer offers a unique training situation for our nation’s first responders and receivers. The agency’s students may face a variety of fluid situations, from hazardous materials response to an encounter with angry protesters. KGS supported our customer as it deployed its emergency medical services (EMS) training.
During training, these professionals are prepared by using situations that replicate what they might face in the real world. The EMS team’s experience enables them to identify potential concerns in the practice scenarios and spot issues impacting specific personnel. As with any training of this type, there are risks to the students and faculty. Registered Nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner regularly evaluate the students, helping ensure their health and supporting any participant with medical limitations or restrictions.
To support our customer, the KGS team helped establish a safe, productive environment. KGS experts provided situational assessment and execution, enabling individuals requiring medical monitoring to receive training essential to their position. This awareness also helped deliver cost savings, as applicants with health issues could be identified early in the screening process.
