Jennifer Roadcap, President of the Federal Civilian Line of Business, is a seasoned professional with three decades of experience in business development and information technology. She reports directly to the CEO and supervises a team of 5 Operating Group Presidents who manage nearly 1200 employees working on almost 100 active contracts across 18 federal agencies. Jennifer’s diligent leadership has driven steady business expansion and includes executive level tasks strategizing and making decisions to promote the health and growth of KGS. Jennifer’s 35 years of experience in the IT industry began at IBM where she specialized in software testing. Over two decades, she honed her technical skills, expanding into website and client-server application testing, test automation, and load/performance testing. Her expertise grew to include in-depth comprehension of the entire software development cycle, enabling her to adeptly pursue diverse business opportunities in government contracting. For the past 23 years, Jennifer has transitioned into leadership roles, managing portfolios of contracts for various IT companies. Her consistent track record of long-term success in program management reflects her hands-on experience and commitment to excellence.
Jennifer’s contributions to the industry were recently recognized by Washington Exec, which identified her as one of the top executives to watch in 2024. Widely respected for her proficiency and influence in the software development and testing fields, particularly in the federal contracting space, Jennifer continues to make a significant impact.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems as well as a Master of Business Administration from James Madison University. She is also a certified PMP and SAFe Agilist. Over the course of her decades-long career in software development and testing, Jennifer has trained and invested in dozens of entry-level professionals, mentoring them into leadership and even executive roles.
