Linda is the President, Health and Operations Management Line of Business and reports directly to the Koniag Government Services (KGS) CEO. In this capacity, she is responsible for the planning, management and financial performance of the Group and is the senior executive decision maker regarding all operational and business development activities with Government and Commercial clients. She is actively engaged in the identification of industry teaming partners to further promote the Group’s presence in the health, operations management and integrated logistics business sectors. Linda directs a staff of Operating Group Presidents and monitors the performance of multiple large scale contracts engaging more than 600 employees. Her career spans more than 40 years of experience in program management, organizational development and business growth initiatives. She has successfully grown organizations by targeting specific business opportunities and developing corresponding new skill sets organically.
Prior to joining KGS, Linda worked for General Dynamics Land Systems Division where she held multiple supervisory and program management positions, the last being the Manager of the Technical Training Department. In this capacity, she directed the activities of over 200 technical trainers, technical writers and field service representatives who supported the introduction of new and legacy combat vehicle systems to the user community. Her efforts in developing unique programs geared to specific customer and user needs earned her the recognition of being one of the division’s Most Outstanding Employees.
Linda has significant experience in assisting both U.S. and foreign companies in the interpretation of requirements and preparation of proposals to various Department of Defense agencies for the acquisition of new and updated weapon systems and services of all types. Internationally, she has worked with several companies in Sweden, Germany and the United Kingdom and has represented those companies to senior military and acquisition officials in the U.S. She has also been a member of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce and participated in numerous presentations in Sweden assisting Swedish companies understand the requirements and processes of U.S. Government contracting.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Master of Arts in Organizational Development and Communications. During her time as an educator, she developed and taught courses in organizational behavior, organizational development and business communications at the Detroit College of Business and Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
She is a long-time member and advocate of the Henry Ford Health System Patient Engaged Research Center helping to fulfill their goal of making the patient experience the very best it can be.
